Walking Together in the Light of Christ An Advent Evening of Prayer, Reflection, and Reconciliation

| Thursday, December 18, at 6 PM Church All are welcome to this Advent gathering. There will be a prayer service including prayer, music, an Advent scriptural reflection, and an opportunity for the sacrament of reconciliation, where several priests will be available for confessions. Sr. Margaret Guider, O.S.F., will offer the reflection. Sr. Meg, as she is known by many, is a professor at the Clough School of Theology and Ministry at Boston College. As the Holy Year of Hope comes to a conclusion, this Advent Prayer Service is an invitation to join as a People of God in community of faith and love – to pray for the gift of God’s peace, the grace of God’s mercy and the blessing of Advent joy – as we prepare ourselves anew to walk in the Light of Christ, Emmanuel, God with-Us.
