Looking for New Members: News From St. Vincent de Paul                        

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul invites parishioners to share in the joy of serving Christ in those who are poor, lonely, or in need. Through home visits, emergency assistance, and acts of friendship, our Conference brings the love of Jesus to our neighbors in practical and personal ways.

We especially need volunteers with gifts in:

Accounting / bookkeeping – to help manage finances and reporting

Social media – to share our mission and reach more people in need

Website design or maintenance – to keep our online presence clear, welcoming, and up to date

Whether you can offer a few hours a month or more specialized skills, your contribution makes a real difference.

If you feel called to this work of charity, please contact Michael Bellomo (mbellomo031@gmail.com)  or speak with any Vincentian after Mass. Together, let us continue the mission of St. Vincent de Paul: “to see the face of Christ in the poor.”

Support Our Neighbors in Need

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul serves individuals and families in our community who are facing hardship. Through your generosity, we are able to provide help with essential needs such as rent, utilities, and food.

There are two simple ways to support this mission:

Poor Boxes in Church—Place your donation in the St. Vincent de Paul poor boxes located in the church.

Online Giving

You can donate through the online giving platform on the St. Peter Parish website. Scroll down on the giving page until you see the St. Vincent de Paul logo to direct your donation to our conference. You can also scan the QR code,  which will take you  directly to the St. Vincent de Paul giving page.

If anyone needs assistance with  utility bills, other bills, or in need of food, or If you know of someone who needs help, please call 617-547-4235 ext. 113 and a St. Vincent de Paul member will return your call.
