Wednesday, February 12, 2025 7PM to 8PM Parish Center
February 12th marks 20 years since Sr. Dorothy Stang, SNDdeN was killed for defending the Amazon rainforest and the people living there. Last month she became the first woman from the US to be honored in Rome in the Sanctuary of the New Martyrs, hosted by the Community of Sant’Egidio. For this presentation we welcome Dr. Laurie Johnston, professor of theology at Emmanuel College, a member of Sant’Egidio, and a parishioner of Saint Peter Parish.
